Alessandro Secchi's story is similar to that of many other vineyards in the Trentino region: a farming family, which, after generations of supplying wine cooperatives and wine-making companies with grapes, made the decision to start producing their own wine, gradually establishing a successful brand name. The vineyards are located between the Rovereto and Ala, where the family cultivates the white Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio varieties used to produce Berillo d'Oro. Between the hamlets of Serravalle and Santa Margherita lie the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Lagrein, Pinot Noir and Marzemino vineyards, which are used on their own, or blended with other varieties, to produce a range of red wines, which are the strong points of this company. The company's best wines - Corindone Rosso, Realgar and Cinabro - are obtained from vines of French origin.
