Maso Salengo

Maso Salengo is a small family-run business that has decided to trace its products from the land to their commercialisation. Winegrowers for more than 100 years, the Raffaelli family has an in-depth knowledge of the Volano area, where they have always cultivated Marzemino and in particular the selection obtained in the Ziresi area. The selected grape varieties are among those best suited to their soils, to enhance the characteristics of each, from the international varieties, Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot and Chardonnay, to the experimental varieties, Rebo and Sennen. A love for the land and its fruit results in special care being taken in the vineyard and at harvest time, in order to obtain raw materials that are up to the task of being transformed into fine wines, which can only be tasted after sufficient ageing and resting in the bottle.

Trentino doc Pinot Grigio

Careful attention to the right time of harvest, and fermentation and ageing in steel and a small part in wood, give this straw-yellow-coloured white a fruity aroma with a slight minerality, complemented by the right structure that makes it balanced and intense.

Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Labiol

Rosé obtained from brief contact with the marc of Marzemino and Merlot to create a wine with an intense cherry pink colour, accompanied by fruity aromas and a fresh, zesty taste. Named after Albiolo, the spring of pure, crystal-clear water gushes above the Ziresi area, in dialect l'Abiol.

Trentino DOC Superiore Marzemino dei Ziresi

A typical Trentino vine cultivated in Vallagarina, responsive to the type of soil where it is grown. The Ziresi area, a small area to the north of Volano, is particularly suited to Marzemino, as it boasts a clay soil that enhances the intensity of the wine's colour, aroma and body, as well as a great elegance provided by its soft acidity, coupled with delicate tannin, and supported by excellent lingering qualities.

Trentino DOC Rebo

Rebo Rigotti, a famous geneticist at the Istituto Agrario di S. Michele all'Adige, selected this new vine from the many plants produced by pollinating the flowers of the Merlot vines with the pollen of the Teroldego, to combine the characteristics of these two fine vines into a single variety. Since 1975, Az. Agr. Maso Salengo has cultivated and believed in Rebo, allocating the best farmland to it. A wine with a delicately herbaceous, fruity and ethereal bouquet, it has a harmonious and zesty flavour with velvety tannins.

Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Salengo rosso

The Salengo vineyard in the municipality of Volano is located in an area of great viticultural potential, where the climate and soil are favourable to high-quality production. The grapes from classic Bordeaux vines contribute to enhancing the characteristic aroma and body of the wine after a period of ageing.
